Google Jamboard
Google Jamboard, is a cloud-based digital whiteboard designed for business users. This new google product is similar to Microsoft Surface Hub.
The digital device combines with Google G Suite software with a touchscreen monitor and supports Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. While, users can log into a Jamboard session via Jamboard itself.
Functionality
Initiators can invite anyone with a G Suite or Gmail account to participate in the Jam session. Also, users can view a working Jam session on the Jamboard even if they’re working, but needs Jamboard companion apps on their smartphones.
Users who don’t have the Jamboard app can attends their session via a web link, but they will participate only view mode.
Adding participants to a Jam Session in the Jamboard is as easy as clicking on their name or typing in their email address. There is no limit to the number or type of person who can passively view a Jam.

If a company has registered as a G Suite user and has access to the companion app can jump in and participate in Jams as well. However, only 16 people can make remote inputs.
Only 50 different people can participate in a Jam through Google Hangouts, means they can able to speak and heard during the session. The videos will also arrive when they speak during a session.
Features
The device comes with 55-inch 4K monitor, and a 1080P wide angle webcam that stimulates at 60 Hertz. Also, an array of ports, including HDMI 2.0, USB Type C, USB 3.0, a Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format audio connector, and an Ethernet input.
Users can also drag their selected drawings and objects like post-its, stickers, and images, also resize them using the “Lasso” selection tool. Also, supports adding GIF images via Google Drive, so you can add dynamic images to your jams.
The shape recognition software to “clean up” messy handwriting and drawing. Essentially, the Brush turns your illegible cursive into perfectly shaped block text.
An add people feature in the Jamboard app, can automatically resolve contacts based on history, matching address book contacts and your email domain. You can receive a notification in their email when adding a person, just like in Google Docs.
For the G Suite admins, you can also see your past data for Wi-Fi network strength, Wi-Fi network speed and board online/offline status in the Jamboard Admin console.
The cost of Jamboard is $4,999. With that, you can also get two styluses, an eraser, and a wall mount. The device will be distributed by BenQ’s network of resellers, and powered by an Nvidia Jetson TX1 embedded computer.
