Project Fi brings bill protection service with an unlimited data plan
Project Fi, tech giant Google’s virtual mobile network service provide call services, text messaging and data services using both Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Now, Project Fi brings bill protection service with an unlimited data plan with to their customers.
Generally, Project fi charges $20 for the first line per 1GB of data. Now, Project fi charges $80 includes calls and texts if you use more than 6GB of data, and also offers unlimited free high-speed data.
If you have two lines on your plan, Bill Protection provides 10GB at $120 a month. With three lines at 12GB ($135), with four lines at 14GB ($150), with five lines at 16GB ($165), and with six lines at 18GB ($180).
Marcia Jung, Project Fi Product Manager, said, the new Bill Protection service combines the simplicity of our existing price with the flexibility of an unlimited plan. The feature rolling out today to individual subscribers and group plans.
Compared to T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint plans, this new Google system isn’t cheap. AT&T and Sprint offer unlimited data plans at $60 per month. T-Mobile charges $70 for unlimited data, and Verizon starts at $75 per month or $85 for the premium version.
When it comes to speed, T-Mobile won’t slow down your connection until used 50GB of monthly data. Till, AT&T and Verizon control at 22GB, while Sprint starts cutting speeds at 23GB. However, an average postpaid customer doesn’t use more than 5GB of data in a month.
While, the project fi customers doesn’t need to enable bill protection. The new feature begins rolling out today and show up at your next billing cycle.
