The Hire app by google launched its beta version to make easy for managers in recruiting the professionals for specified job opening.
This new version with ‘candidate discovery’ feature incorporates G suite apps like Gmail, Google calendar. The release initiated with a blog post by product manager, Omar Eduardo Fernandez.
But hire app previously launched in July. As recruiters can create a list of former candidates and pick them for the better position. Moreover, candidate discovery can also categorize candidates with location priorities, job description, and employment specifications.
Speaking on the occasion, David Francis, Staffing Industry Analysts Research Manager, shared his thoughts on the app.
“Given Google’s search and artificial intelligence capabilities. They may be able to provide a unique approach in recruiting passive/pre-identified candidates. And will certainly add some spice to an already exciting and innovative space.”

Fernandez, in his blog, shared the larger details driving Hire, and the intent and planning behind the app.
“It takes a search phrase like ‘sales manager Bay Area’ and immediately understands the skills and experiences relevant to that job title. As well as which cities are part of the Bay Area.”
By utilizing the Hire app managers can organize filters to search jobs and candidates. Include candidate feed backs, interview feed backs and those who received an offer but had declined the same in the past, will rank higher than those who were rejected.
