Two days back Twitter reveal the details of its upcoming Account activity API changes, which effects on third-party Twitter apps. With this announcement, the third-party apps can get to Twitter APIs and give services to users who are using Twitterrific and Tweetbot.
Now, the third-party twitter app developers should buy a Premium or Enterprise Account Activity API package to get activities related to twitter account, including tweets, retweets, likes, follows, blocks, mutes and replies.

Price of new account activity APIs
However, the Premium API priced at $2899 per month and provides access up to 250 accounts. While, enterprise access is more expensive with pricing quotes available from an application for an enterprise account. Some third-party apps said, they won’t have the capacity to manage the cost of access to the new Twitter APIs.

Twitter says, these APIs will not access to streaming connections, which are used by only 1% of monthly active apps. And, it will be delaying the drop of its current APIs for three months to give developers time to progress to the new platform. These APIs will deplore on August 16 rather than June 19. While, twitter planned the original date to end bolster for the APIs.
As per twitter, the impact of these progressions will majorly effect on third-party Twitter apps, but we ought to hear updated details soon. Tapbots, the makers of Tweetbot for Mac and iOS, stated, its applications will keep on functioning, but a couple of features could be slower or removed.
Tapbots says, on Mac, the notifications for likes and retweets won’t show, and notifications for tweets, notices, statements, DMs, and Follows could postpone by one to two minutes.
