PayPal has recently been spotted making payment easier and more secure for its users. Along with this, it is also on its route to create a deeper integration with Google Pay. So, what’s new about the popular online payment portal?
Well, to be straight forward, it now lets you make your payment for any of the items or services you just purchased without having to expose any of your sensitive information while you are using Google Pay. So, now you no more need to log into your PayPal account and leave your Google Pay when you want to pay for something.
To be clear, you get PayPal support in your Google Pay account. So, if you even want to pay for any item at some real-world brick-and-mortar shop with your PayPal account you wouldn’t need any kind of physical card anymore if you have connected it with your Gmail!
Though the company has worked upon it, it wouldn’t be live until the later part of this year. Once live, it will then include many of Google powered apps such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Store and so on. And so, you’ll then be able to pay using GPay for making payments as well as for peer-to-peer transfers.
Market speculators call it an intelligent partnership and smart business move by both the companies. While PayPal will earn from all the additional transaction revenues that the partnership will provide it with, Google will get to retain a huge base of potential buyers who would not make any transaction if they find no support for PayPal based transactions. Interestingly, if certain restrictions such as transaction limits and deposits are not considered, this unique partnership will be no less than creating a traditional bank account for some users!
Wondering why this partnership when one can already make payments for online purchases using GPay? Well, simply because it will cover up all the minor facilities that one may otherwise find missing. In other words, it simply completes the circuit or makes it all a full circle scenario!
