The king of video game consoles Sony PlayStation sold more than 500 Million PlayStation consoles across the world, since the launch of their first model. On the eve of this occasion, Sony announces a new 500 Million limited-edition PlayStation 4 Pro. Sony launches their first video gaming console in 1994 at Japan, from there the company improving their market growth day by day with their new editions and features.

While, the new limited-edition PlayStation 4 Pro console comes in a translucent dark blue case that supports a huge 2TB hard drive to store games, apps, videos and more. The 500 million limited edition Gold Wireless headset also coated with the same translucent dark blue with copper frame. Along with the console, you can also get a Dual Shock4 wireless controller, PlayStation Camera, Vertical Stand and mono headset.

Additionally, each console on the front will have an honorary copper plate with limited edition stamped serial number. And, few lucky PlayStation users may get special hardware units with serial numbers like 09995.

Cost and launch

However, the new limited-edition PlayStation 4 pro starts rolling on retailer sites in the US and Canada from August 24. The range of cost is $499.99 USD (MSRP) / $639.99 CAD (MSRP) and will be limited to 50,000 units worldwide.

While, the standalone Dual Shock 4 wireless controller available for $64.99 USD (MSRP) / $74.99 CAD (MSRP) and the Gold Wireless headset available separately at $99.99 USD (MSRP) / $119.99 CAD (MSRP). But, these are available in limited quantities at selected retail sites in both the US and Canada.

Sony stated that, “the PS4 Pro supported content has continued to grow, truly showcasing the power of 4K TV gaming, HDR, and more. This year the console packed with popular games, like Detroit: Become Human, God of War and Monster Hunter: World. We couldn’t be more excited for upcoming enhanced games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2”.
