The Biggest manufacturers LG and Samsung QLED 8K TV sets unveiled at the IFA 2018 electronics trade show currently taking place in Berlin, Germany.
Samsung Q900R QLED 8K TV
Samsung QLED 8K TV allows TV to produce four times more pixels than a 4K UHD TV. It is 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV. Samsung powered by 10+ technology which optimizes the TV’s brightness levels and produces realistic colors.
The new TV will come with 8K AI Upscaling, which means it will use artificial intelligence to make picture and sound quality compatible with 8K regardless of the original source quality or format.
It will be going on sale at the end of September, as yet Samsung has not revealed any pricing details.
There will be four different screen sizes in Samsung QLED 8K TV the range, 65 inches, 75 inches, 82 inches and 85 inches. Samsung will reveal pricing on these new 8K TVs closer to launch.
LG 88-inch 8K OLED
LG has also unveiled the 88-inch 8K OLED TV features comes with 7380×4320 resolution, over 33 million self-emitting pixels.
The LG 8K OLED TV variant has still not been disclosed the price and launch date.
Where 8K will really come into its own is virtual reality (VR). The virtual reality will become even more realistic and immersive.
