Samsung working on a foldable smartphone and it seems that the device is away from the public debut. According to the Korean sources report, Samsung will introduce its foldable smartphone in November 2018.
In the Corporation exhibition which was held in November, Samsung Developer Conference will talk about the world’s first foldable smartphone. The conference will held on November 7th- November 8th in San Francisco.
The foldable smartphone will equipped with 7-inch OLED display that can folded in half. The size of the screen in the folded state will be 4.5 inches. Thus, the new product can replace a smartphone and tablet.
Samsung to reveal the secrets of the foldable smartphone
Previously, DJ Koch, the President of Mobile Communications of Samsung has confirmed that Samsung will try to become the first company in the world to introduce folding smartphone.
He said, “We may provide partial information about the foldable phone at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) in November, but the finished product won’t be available there.”
According to rumors, the phone will named as Galaxy F or will be part of the Galaxy series F, at the Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas in January next year.
Smartphone makers such as Huawei and ZTE, are also planning to create a foldable smartphone. Lenovo, another Chinese company, is also working on a foldable smartphone that recently leaked in a video.
Samsung released its first Android smartphone in 2009, and also launched their first Android tablet back in 2010. The company is one of the biggest sellers in the smartphone market in the world. It has recently developed a new OS for smartphones named as Tizen OS, as an alternative to its Android-based smartphones. Samsung’s latest mobile launch is the Galaxy A7. The smartphone launched in 2018 September. The phone contains 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2220 pixels.
