Google to update its camera app in pixel smartphones for new feature that is compatible with external mics to record sounds while shooting a video.
These external mic recording feature already available with third party android apps. Even you can plug the external mic in USB-C port for usage. But pixel smartphones capture high quality photos, while shooting a video sound is quiet bit tougher in clarity. Google Camera 6.1 silently started supporting external microphones. The older versions of pixel smartphones can also get the new camera updates.
The update to be released on retail launch date of google pixel 3, i.e. 18 October 2018. “At the same time as Pixel 3 launch (October 18th). We will introduce support for Android-compatible plugged-in external microphones in the default camera app for all Pixels,” the engineer wrote on Google’s forums.
Real-time Google Lens results are powered by on-device machine learning that work to identify billions of words, phrases, places, and things in seconds. With “Top Shot,” Google AI works to take frames before and after you press the shutter button capture candid moments like smiles, winking, and stuck out tongues, as well as other interesting moments.
The Pixel 3 features a new “Photobooth” mode users can just set aside the Pixel 3 to capture images just like Clips. While capturing group photo users can adjust between three levels of zoom with a slider above the shutter button.
Another Super Res Zoom on the Pixel 3 takes a burst of shots run. So, users can create frame anyway they want. This computational photography technique traditionally used in astronomy and scientific imaging.
Pixel 3 users to take a picture without a flash and is coming next month. Flash makes for unnatural-looking photos with uneven exposures and shadows. Machine learning chooses the right colors based on the content of the images.
