Samsung has announced its “Always Connected” PC called the Galaxy Book2. The upcoming Windows 2-in-1 computer that is capable of gigabit LTE network connectivity and full day battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 with a 12-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440. It is furnished with dual speakers tuned by AKG and it has built-in support for Dolby Atmos.  The Galaxy Book2 includes the keyboard and an S Pen stylus straight out of the box. The keyboard also functions as the device’s protective cover, so users will able to easily take it on the go.

The overall design of the device looks very similar to Microsoft’s Surface Pro devices, as told by The Verge. The Galaxy Book2 magnetically attaches to the keyboard and it has an adjustable metal kickstand on the backside. The device also having with two USB Type-C ports, a microSD card slot, a fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For cameras, it has an 8-megapixel shooter on its back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2  powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 mobile processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 LTE Modem. This means that users can stay connected to the internet total day if they need to. There’s also Wi-Fi, so users won’t have to depend on LTE to stay connected. Samsung is also promising to deliver “multi-workday” battery life with the Galaxy Book2. The company estimates that it can work up to 20 hours straight without interruptions.

It runs Windows 10 in S Mode straight out of the box. There is a limited version of the full Windows 10 operating system that won’t let users install apps not offered in the Microsoft Store. Even users will have the option to disable it and upgrade to the full Windows 10 experience.

Samsung stated that the Galaxy Book2 will be available from ATT, microsoft and samsung for $999.99 which will start from Nov. 2. The 2-in-1 PC will also be sold in stores at AT&T, Sprint and Verizon later this month.
