Acer Swift 7 has launched at CES 2019. With special feature of 92% screen to its body ratio which means a thinner in size of Acer laptops.
The Acer Swift 7’s will not be the thinnest laptop in the world. But it is size with thickness of 9.95mm and weighs 890 grams comparing with all 14-inch laptop it is smaller in weight. From the flip side, the display resolution is just 1920×1080 pixels. And much lower than the standard for premium laptops of this size.
The Acer Swift 7 specifications are, an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8500Y Amber Lake processor. With up to 512GB of SSD storage, and up to 16GB RAM. The base version has 256GB SSD storage and 8GB RAM, and having price of $1,699 (roughly Rs. 1.19 lakh) in the US. The Acer Swift 7 will enter into China, Europe, Middle East, and Africa in April 2019 and in the US from May.
The Acer Swift 7 having two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports, and a headphone jack. And also has a power button with an integrated Windows Hello fingerprint reader. Acer state that the battery of the new Swift 7 laptop will last for up to 10 hours on a single charge.

However, the 2019 Acer Swift 7 outshines its predecessor on the display front. The biggest compromise on the new Swift 7 is the location of the webcam. It has a pop-up camera built-in to the keyboard and Acer said that this can swivel up to 65 degrees.
