Some Android smartphone users have raised concern on odd bug in Microsoft’s Skype application that consequently answering calls.
Users first started complaining about the Skype bug in January on Microsoft’s answers forum.
The Skype application on Android has a setting called ‘Answering incoming calls consequently‘. Microsoft considers an availability feature for the application. However, users have found that even disabling the feature. It doesn’t stop calls answered automatically, typically after a few rings, according to the first complainant.
A Microsoft support specialist started making inquiries on the issue on the day the objection posted and has since said a fix is headed.
The bug reporter noted that smartwatch turned off or when Bluetooth disabled. The Skype app stopped automatically answering. However, not all those reporting the problem had a paired smartwatch.
