Today’s tech news: Benefits of Cashew

Cashew nuts grow inside the seeds.

They contain vitamins and minerals that support healthy blood and immune system function.

Other nuts may help prevent type 2 diabetes.

Each ounce of cashews (about 16 to 18 nuts) contains 160 calories, 5 grams of protein, and 13 grams of fat.

Contains high levels of lutein and zeaxanthin, which act as antioxidants.

Some vitamins and minerals in nuts, such as potassium, vitamins E and B-6, and folic acid, also help to fight heart disease.

These include vitamins E, K, and B-6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc.

Eating them was associated with a 25 percent lower risk of developing gallstones.
