Samsung has one more mystery to unfold on September 1. But it is not a mystery per se. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 that Samsung took the wraps off at the same event where it unveiled the new Galaxy Note series. But it was not a proper introduction of the company’s new foldable phone. Having said that Samsung didn’t reveal any technical details, though it did announce that more details will be out on September 1. And pre-orders will start on the same day as well.
But instead of posting everything about the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in a press release. Samsung has decided to present it at a special event. This event called Unpacked Part 2, and it will commence on September 1 at 10 AM ET or 7 AM PT.
Samsung has alreadypulled itself out of the IFA event that is scheduled to commence between September 3 and September 5. So, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is not a part of the IFA event happening in Berlin.
After its formal introduction at Unpacked Part 1 on August 5, the device has been leaked several times. There are some hands-on videos and reviews already available on the device. However, not a single one was able to describe the nitty-gritty better. These early impressions, fortunately, didn’t reveal much about the device so, we are still in luck to know more from the manufacturer itself.
Even though the registrations are already live and going on the official website, Samsung has not yet disclosed the pricing of Galaxy Z Fold 2. But, let’s just fret not as we are just a few days away from the said launch.
But,WinFutureappears to have gotten hold of the Galaxy Z Fold 2’s full spec sheet ahead of September 1. Various details are reiterated but, in case you need to catch up on the device, this is your chance. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 265GB of UFS 3.1 storage that’s not expandable.
