What you need to know about the Resident Evil Village Maiden demo

The demo is a stand-alone separate experience from the main game as it is a kind of short story set within the world of RE village.

The maiden

Maiden is not the name of any person rather it symbolizes a girl who trapped in Dimitrescu Castle. Rather than playing as Ethan and seeing a part of his story. This character is different from the Resident Evil Village main story. Both the maiden’s story and Ethan’s story will take place at different times.

The maiden demo is not included in the main story of Resident Evil Village. At first, Maiden is designed as a visual demo that will allow you to explore Dimitrescu Castle. But finally, it evolved to include a short story along with puzzle solving.

Resident Evil fans are familiar with the various castles that appear throughout the series. So they also feel very familiar with this new one too. The RE Village and Maiden took place in the same place but not at the same time. It left us somewhat bewildered whether the two would tied together somehow.

Better technology

Playing Resident Evil Village’s maiden demo on PS5 you will notice that the game takes full advantage of the technology that the PS5 offers. PS5’s offers ray tracing and 3D audio thus enhancing your gaming experience both visually and audio-wise.

Designed in such a way that it takes full advantage of tech that will also available in the RE village full version. So the maiden function as a next-gen leap for survival horror. Finally, we can witness the art design and technology efforts for bringing such a hauntingly beautiful and detailed environment.

RE demo game and full version game both are designed with excellent graphics and high frame rate and short loading times that don’t spoil people’s experience of the game. You will see the art director’s vision in the full game and demo versions in the environments, objects, and character models.

Experience of the Resident Evil Village maiden demo and full version

The demo takes place in the same world as RE village does and Maiden is what separates it from the RE Village. Along with this, there are few similarities between the full version and the demo version has. You will be able to figure them out once you play both of them. Once the full version gets released and when you play that and after come back to the demo game. Then you might discover the similarities between them.

You can also pre-order the Resident Evil Village game on Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 through your PS Store to secure a bonus exclusive mini soundtrack.

However, If you don’t have PS5 then don’t worry because PS4 purchases of Resident Evil Village are entitled to a digital upgrade to the PS5 version with no additional cost. Along with this, a Deluxe edition will be available for both platforms. That will also include various in-game perks of Resident Evil 7 biohazard.
