Huawei has released another teaser of new Huawei Mate X2, through a post on Weibo. The teaser reveals that the Huawei Mate X2 will feature an inside folding design, unlike the original Huawei Mate X’s design. Original Mate X had a large screen that folds in half, as a result, the display will appear on the outside of the device. Whereas its new smartphone Mate X2 looks like it’ll fold the other way.
The previous Huawei Mate XS foldable design has several issues. Like the smartphone’s hinge wasn’t the best which makes the device a bit difficult to use. This means it has an integrated 5G modem rather than a separate component. Huawei also informs that it’s redesigned smartphones cooling system to allow it to bridge the folding portion of the device.
